SO
anyone on my F-list interested? you guys get first dibs! All nude.
Bait Fiori Coral (bald, changed chips) Hina Ichigo (bald, changed chips - have originals somewhere) Drta (as stock) Monomono (bald, marks on faces from glasses) Tweety (as stock) *possibly* cinnamoroll (as stock with frizzy wig) | comments: 6 comments or Leave a comment |

This makes me so angry.
If you can't read it, basically this girl is asking for sailor scout costumes, I reply saying 'I have some dolls here, I could strip them for you' she asks if i could put them on a doll, and I reply with a pic.
All of my replies are balleeted because of their rule, (no 'random' posts in the BST) now the thread not only doesn't make sense, but the poor girl doesn't have her answers and is still outfitless.
FUCK YOU, TIB. | comments: 5 comments or Leave a comment |

The other day I found my very first Sailor Moon printout that I had, dated 2000. Of course that was back when I used to visit the council offices to use the internet, and printouts were £1- yep, thats right, a POUND! - each, so they had to be special ones. This was the picture I had chosen.
Of course back then, I'd only ever seen the first two series dubbed on Fox Kids, and thus I had no clue who the heck the other characters on here even were! I knew the inners of course, but I'd spend hours deliberating over which was which of the outers (did I ever get it right? I dunno) Whether I took any special notice of that green haired chick, I have no clue. Of course because of this pic I spent all of season 2 expecting Rini to power up, but of course she never did. hahaha FAIL. I never knew what batshittery I was going to fall into!
Fast forward to...... ehhhh about four or five years ago now, and I mention to Jody I'd never seen the rest of SM, and of course would love to. She buys me season 3 on (*cough*bootleg DVD, shush) and eh...... I fall in love and totally changes everything! I got season 4 for xmas of 05, and got pissed that it was all about Chibi and not a sniff of poor Michiru or Haruka (slightly soured my love of Chibi, that did) and I bought season 5 the next year, and pretty much, thats it.
I should really rewatch em all....... WOW nine whole years of insanity, who would've thought?
I'd really love some more Michiru and Haruka artwork to adorn my walls..... I wish I had some cash to commission some!

| hey guys.
So you may or may not have noticed that lately I've been pretty lax on the sewing side. truth is, I really don't have the motivation to keep going right now, and I fear that I'll start taking longer to finish stuff, and maybe even the quality going down as I can't be bothered, etc etc. Plus I've made a couple of serious cockups, one left me in tears when I realised what I'd done....I promised something by a certain time, and I got the months mixed up. The person in question WILL get their commissions, only it'll be too late. I'm fucking gutted and really, really disappointed in myself.
So this is the time where I tell myself enough is enough, and put a stop to doing anymore, at least for the time being. All currently agreed to commissions will be fulfilled - don't you worry, no-one EVER misses out with me - but thats it after that.
I feel quite sad, but It'll be a lot of stress lifted from me. If I do sell anything in the near future, it'll be ready made stuff, for I still love sewing, I just can't deal with the stress of commissioned work. Its awful, because a couple of months ago I felt invinceable. I wish I'd go back to that! | comments: 9 comments or Leave a comment |

It was painful, and took four torturous weeks, but its done. Almost 70 items later, my BOGOF was rather successful.... don't you think? However I shall never, ever take on so much again!!
A whole bunch have been sent out, and more will follow next monday. PHEW. Thank you ALL for your patience! | comments: 9 comments or Leave a comment |
| I just wish to discuss freebies for a moment, and wanted you guys to throw me any imput you may have.
Now I currently don't give away freebies with my sales, mainly for two reasons - one, I haven't found anything suitable, and two, it'd drive up the cost of what I sell. In that way, I mostly mean the packaging - I currently use paper envelopes to send out 3 or less items, an envelope costs me about 3 or 4 pence. a freebie - a phone strap, sweeties, badge etc - is far too bulky and heavy for those envelopes, thus I'd have to use a bubble envelope (30-40p) plus extra on postage. But people LIKE freebies, don't they?
SO! Do I think about freebies or not? Are there any cute freebies that you can think of I can include, which wouldn't affect the envelope/postage price - basically FLAT freebies? I can think of stickers and bookmarks, though I can't find anywhere to buy this stuff reasonably cheap. And not that I want to be awfully stingy, but my stuff is cheap enough already *major sweatdrop* that I don't wanna cut into the tiny profit I may get too much.
(I actually don't think I get a proft from this. No, really. Any money I make gets spent right back onto fabric and ribbon. I do it for the thrill, I swear.)
AND YES - I DO sit around and ponder this kind of shit A LOT. I need to get a life, as they say!
Heres my newest gal, Claudia, just to pretty up this post. Cos... why not?

If ANYONE can help me find this fabric, I will love you forever. Its my most requested fabric - I have to turn down at least two people a week for this. :/ it is NOT a japanese import fabric, and I'm pretty sure I've seen someone on flickr say they got it from jo-anns. I bought mine from Hobbycraft in the UK, but its long gone from there.
It comes in three colours - blue, pink, cream. I'd prefer blue and cream over pink, but would take any or all.
I don't mind if its a fat quarter, half yard, or yard.
How much do I want to pay? Well there is a listing on Ebay right now for a fat quarter, thats costs 9.50 with shipping. WITHOUT shipping, it basically works out at just over $20 a yard. I want to pay less than that, obviously! i don't know how much shipping would be for it to the UK, but I'd need to factor that in as well. It was £10 for a metre in Hobbycraft!! hence why I only bought half a metre, now I wish I'd bought more!
If you EVER see this fabric, if not now, in the future, PLEASE let me know. I really need it! | comments: 12 comments or Leave a comment |
| MSR arrived today, after five short days of waiting! WOOHOO! And according to USPS, Afternoon landed in the UK about an hour ago. Hopefully she shall make it here tomorrow! (I can't wait to get her, though I probably won't be getting another new doll in a VERY long time now) | comments: 5 comments or Leave a comment |

| I HAVE PICTURES!!! I actually have dolly pictures to share! i took these a few weeks ago, but they are super cute, right?

I'm hoping this is the start of better and more picture filled times. We both have our own rooms now, so MORE ROOM FOR MEEEEE!! I'm SO going to build a dolly diorama to take pictures on. | comments: 5 comments or Leave a comment |
| So apparently its Michiru's (the actual character, not my doll of course) birthday today, so..... I think Haruka pullip can be my Michi pullips birthday present. (am I still going on about this? yes I am!) I got some green tartan, no its nothing like the one in their school uniform, but stuff it - they are my dolls, and I'll do it how I like, thanks! LOL I also got some tantus chips, I'll choose between those and the Arietta ones when they get here. I bought the wig for her too, and have an obitsu here so... good to go!
OH and I did a spur of the moment thing, I got Berri's old pink wig (thats the cancan one with the wierd bunches on top) some red eyechips I got free from coolcat ages ago, and my coral dal. Hmmmm what does that make? Chibiusa! (kinda.) I can't get the bunches to form points very well, so they'll have to stay as is. Round. Ahh well.
I'd take pics of this shit, but my room is so full and messy, theres nowhere to do it. And that makes me a sad panda! | comments: Leave a comment |
| Total FAIL.
I bought a bait for my Haruka custom, and rushed about trying to locate some stock blue eyechips for her.
But which bait did I buy? Arietta. With her blue eyechips.
Like I said, total fail. *cackle* | comments: 15 comments or Leave a comment |
| So I got a cheap bait pullip, but the wig and other stuff I going to have to wait, a long time I think. I either want Andrews wig (is it soft?? or like regular stock wigs?) or the BJ wig in the aforementioned post. Sooo expensive....
But I have seen the eyechips that I want! TANTUS EYECHIPS!! where on earth am I going to find a pair of those???? | comments: Leave a comment |
